No more walking thorough the exit to get to the food court, now one has to go through the entrance. No biggie. Finally had a chance to try the new sundaes. Got my self a caramel brownie sundae, it was good but couldn't finish it all. With that said, I'd rather give myself a great attack by scarfing down a couple cookies 🍪 😋 only because I'm lactose 💩

I have been a loyal Costco member for years and generally have nothing but positive things to say about the company. However, a recent experience at the customer service desk left me extremely disappointed and questioning the level of training and consistency being provided to front-line employees. I visited the warehouse to redeem my annual Costco Annual reward certificate. My intention was to convert the reward into a Costco Shop Card so I could make an online purchase, as the item I wanted was not available in the warehouse. This is something I have successfully done in previous years without issue. While waiting in line, I observed the customer service representative spend considerable time assisting other customers ahead of me. When it became my turn, I politely explained my request. Without making any effort to verify the policy or explore possible options, the employee immediately told me that Costco does not do that and refused my request. Because I was confident that this had been done for me in previous years, I later contacted Citi and reported the issue. A few days afterward, the warehouse manager personally called me. He was professional, courteous, and apologetic. Most importantly, he confirmed that I had been given incorrect information and that reward certificates can, in fact, be redeemed for a Costco Shop Card. He seemed genuinely surprised that the employee was unaware of the policy and encouraged me to contact him directly if I experienced any further issues. Unfortunately, when I returned to the warehouse to complete the transaction, I encountered another frustrating experience. The employee assisting me appeared uncertain about the process and repeatedly sought guidance from coworkers and supervisors. During this interaction, another employee, Samantha, appeared to be discussing my request with colleagues in a manner that made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. I politely explained that I had already spoken with the warehouse manager and that he had confirmed the procedure. Despite this, there seemed to be little interest in clarifying the situation with management. Eventually, the Shop Card was issued, but the overall experience left me feeling embarrassed and undervalued. I felt as though I was being treated as if I were requesting something improper, despite simply asking for a legitimate benefit associated with my membership and rewards program. To be clear, my concern is not with the warehouse manager. He handled the situation professionally, acknowledged the mistake, and treated me with respect. My concern is with the inconsistent information, lack of employee knowledge, and the manner in which the situation was handled at the customer service desk. Costco has built an outstanding reputation for customer service, which is one of the reasons I continue to shop there. However, experiences like this undermine that reputation and create unnecessary frustration for members. Members should not have to escalate issues or involve management simply to receive a benefit they are entitled to receive. For anyone redeeming their Costco reward certificate, be aware that you do have options regarding how you use your rewards. If you encounter conflicting information, I encourage you to politely ask for clarification from management. I hope Costco takes this feedback seriously and ensures that customer service employees are properly trained on policies and procedures so that other members do not have a similar experience.

Me and my husband visited this store while in Oklahoma. This was probably one of the cleanest and most stocked Costco location. I will definitely have to return.

Love to shop at Costco. You find all you need. Especially a variety of things. Love their food concession, especially their pizza. The best I have had in a long time, reminds me of New York pizza and their Sundays the best. Really nice hard working employees.
