I recommend Costco for most everything in the store I do wish they would have a self checkout sort of like Sam Club does but they usually keep the the lines moving fast enough that it's not too painful the only problem that I have with the checkout lines is when you're going to the self checkout they no longer have wands and you have to pick every item out of the card and put it on the conveyor belt yourself so you can scan it. N o problem unless dealing with a 20 to 30 lb bag of rice and beans that is a little over the top but when I have those items I choose to go through the lines where the workers will remove those items, They also have the best Meats in the business if you don't believe try them for yourself go for the prime select Meats,as the choice is good but the marbling on the prime steaks and ribeye are Bar None to many meat market I have ever been to. Costco also has the snack bar which is outside the store and the only downfall with that is they have six to eight machines outside and only two to three work which is not a problem during most of the day but around noon and around 5:00 p.m. they're super crowded and you're dealing with a lot of people who act like they've never been to Costco and can't pick what they want so it takes a lot longer to get to one of those machines. The upside is when you do get to the counter the step is really quick and friendly and make sure your order is complete before they send you on your way with a smile.

Food court very slow 20 minutes and waiting for someone to catch on to the two lines all the way to entrance!!! Currently 6 employees in kitchen..... Employees chit chatting with eachother instead of seeing the long lines you'd think if you only had drinks you'd be in one line and food in the other........im dying of thirst......hmmmmphh ;)

I had a horrible experience at this Costco with an employee by the name of Jennifer on Thursday 5/21. I live in Florida and come visit my mother in Bakersfield. So when I’m in town I like take mom to Costco and help her get a few things off her list to help out. I don’t have a Costco card my self because but my husband does and we normally go shopping together for groceries so o don’t see the point in having one myself. On this day my mom had her Costco card and I asked the cashier Jennifer to ring up 2 separate transactions. She seemed bothered by my request and began to make things difficult by stating if I did that I would have to pay cash for one of the transactions. Which sounded odd to me since this was not my first time doing 2 transactions. Thankfully, I had cash in my purse. I really don’t like confrontations so I kept my cool and said that’s fine. She proceeded to ring up my groceries and started to mishandle my food my tossing it into the cart and placing things rudely and placing coffee bones on top of my soft produce like avocados. She even left some of my groceries on the counter like she wanted me to place them in my cart. I continued with my business and started to fix my cart produce properly and gather the remaining of my coffee box’s from the counter. I had a very unpleasant experience with this lady as if I was bothering her and her attitude showed it. I did go to a services area on my way out to ask if cash was required and I was told it wasn’t. The lady wgo helped me there was very pleasant and helpful. I wish I would have gotten her name but she made things better.

WATCH OUT!! Today I bought 20 items, the cashier at Costco charged me for 21 items. I asked a lady supervisor to doble check how many items I got and she insisted on 21 items. I asked someone else to double check and she confirmed 20 items. COUNT YOUR ITEMS before leaving the store. Imagine if Costco do that to several thousands of customers every day at each store, that represents MILLIONS of dollars stealing to loyal customers.

Cashier Romeal A. is so incredibly rude how is he still in front working. I always avoid his line but I had no other choice. the impulse items are getting pushed further and further to the registers there is no room for customers massive shopping carts and the line is beyond chaotic. So I was forced to get in his line. Romeal had zero friendliness or professionalism. He is not polite, zero eye contact. Never a smile on his face always angry face. Try to hold small talk with him and he's just as nasty as ever. He scanned an item that was already purchased to reflect my receipt, increasing shrink! Should have waited till I received my item and scanned it then. Shopping date 1.2.25 evening shift
