I went here today, and it was packed, crazy line at the gas, but the associates there were quite friendly and ready to assist. Not a long wait at the pump, although it was busy. The location was clean and tons of stuff, lots of smiling, and they were quite engaged as well, likewise those at the exit doors checking receipts. The restroom needed a little bit of attention, though. The person at the front where to scan the membership card was not focused as she was talking with other associate. Anyone can walk in there without even noticing the person, cause she wasn't looking at the scan machine or the members scanning their cards. But anyway, I love going to Costco.

This Costco is always busy, and it can be a little difficult to find parking, especially on weekends. The store carries a wide variety of Asian foods. Additionally, the gas station here usually offers lower prices compared to others in the Bay Area.

Update I’ve been a loyal Costco member for four years, but this location is disappointing. The produce section is often messy, with items opened and scattered. For a small household like mine, this makes me reconsider shopping here and look at alternatives like Trader Joe’s. I hope this store improves its standards. ——————————————— Extremely frustrating experience at Costco today. There was a price sign for Kerrygold Dubliner cheese clearly showing $4.29 per pound after a manufacturer’s instant rebate. When I checked out, the system charged a higher price. I was told by staff at self-checkout and then at the regular register that a manager could adjust the price. I waited in multiple lines and spent about 30 minutes trying to resolve something that should have been very simple. When the manager finally arrived, she told me the sign was wrong and refused to honor the displayed price. What made the situation worse was the attitude, there was no apology for the incorrect sign and no acknowledgment of the time I had already spent being redirected between lines. Mistakes can happen in retail, but customer service matters. Sending a customer between multiple lines and then dismissing the issue without any apology is disappointing and unprofessional. This experience was frustrating not because of the small price difference, but because of how the situation was handled. I hope management can improve how pricing errors are handled so customers don’t have to waste time going between different lines.

My husband and I came early to renew our membership (he lost his card and we forgot to change it on the app so it failed to auto renew), we were made aware that we couldn’t until 10. We said that’s fine and since it was raining and our baby was hungry we sat down and fed him, plus I’m pregnant so I was already feeling lightheaded just standing around. No one at the counter said we couldn’t go sit down when we walked away, we would’ve just gone back out if someone mentioned anything. My husband forgot his phone in the car so he had to come back in. One of the card scanner people followed him and very aggressively said “I thought you were going to member services”. She was very rude and disrespectful even when we explained we’ve already talked to someone at the counter. She said she didn’t want to argue and claimed she would go get a manager she never did. She went by the membership counter and talked to the people there, then went back to her spot at the door. When we finally renewed and went back in she turned away from us (her full body was facing away from the door) as we scanned our card. I wish she would’ve gotten a manager because she needs to be retrained on how to interact with customers and conflict resolution. If she feels the need to raise her voice with others she doesn’t need to be on the floor and needs to get a manager. She never apologized for the way she interacted with us and no one said anything to us about her conduct. I’m really disgusted by her behavior. Literally all we wanted was diapers and formula for our baby since we just got back from an out of state funeral and needed to stock back up. I’ve never had issues with any Costco before so it really upset me.
