john beran 3 months agoSo I like Costco, but OMG, this place was an absolute madhouse, like day before Christmas busy on a Monday in March at 2PM. The Gas station looks like they are giving gas away, there had to be 50 to 60 vehicles waiting to pump "CRAZY". The parking lot was packed, I mean completely full. The registers had lines a mile long. For the store, it has a huge selection, with really competitive prices, is clean, and seemed to be well staffed. So being busy has a lot to do with the value and selection. Just be prepared for a crazy busy place, I could only imagine what the weekend is like. Typical Costco experience but Busy, busy, busy!
Johny Alain 2 months agoI had an extremely disappointing and disturbing experience at Costco Wholesale that I feel obligated to share. I have been a loyal member for over 10 years, but what happened during my recent visit was unacceptable. I arrived driving my 2026 Mercedes GLC300, dressed casually, like any normal customer. Upon attempting to enter, I was stopped by a door employee identified as Lily G, who immediately questioned whether the membership I presented belonged to me. I found this accusation both unwarranted and disrespectful. Despite calmly explaining myself, she refused to let me in. I returned to my car to retrieve my ID and came back shortly after. At that point, another employee was at the entrance, but Lily G continued to intervene, loudly telling others not to let me enter. I requested to speak with a manager or supervisor. A woman came and initially appeared professional and respectful, but while speaking to me in English, she called security in Spanish, which felt discriminatory and unnecessary. Eventually, I was allowed inside, but the situation did not improve. Lily G continued to follow me throughout the store, repeatedly harassing me and implying I did not belong there. When I reached checkout, I was told I could not pay using a friend’s membership, but the way this was communicated was deeply offensive. I was spoken to with clear disdain, and at one point I was even called “homeless,” which is completely unacceptable and degrading. Ironically, I am a U.S. citizen of over 15 years and the owner of a multi-million dollar residential building in Old Town. However, that should not matter—no customer deserves to be treated this way regardless of their background or appearance. The situation escalated further when a man identified as Diego, who claimed to be a general supervisor, approached me aggressively. He told me to be quiet and threatened to remove me permanently from the store, stating that he could do whatever he wanted, as if he owned the establishment. Meanwhile, Lily G was whispering to him, insisting that I did not have a valid membership. At that point, I chose to leave without making any purchases. I was extremely upset and mentally exhausted by the entire experience. This level of harassment, profiling, and disrespect is unacceptable in any setting, especially from a company that claims to value its members. As a result, I will be canceling my membership, as well as those of my family members, who have also been loyal customers for many years. We will not continue to support a business that allows this kind of treatment. I strongly urge management to investigate this incident and take appropriate action to ensure that no other customer has to endure this type of discrimination and humiliation in the future. Goodbye, Costco after 10 years.
Desiree Vele-Bonete a month agoOverall great shopping experience! I've gone with my aunt several times just to scope out the vibe and how everything works, so it wasn't my first time. Although today was my first time getting my own membership with my mother. We aren’t frequent goers, hence our stern decision in getting the “Gold Star” membership. Although upon arrival, the manager kept insisting that we weren’t educated enough about the “Executive Membership” after repeatedly telling her we weren’t interested. Even though we were speaking perfectly fine English the entire time, she still got a Spanish speaker, “Liz,” to translate for us to see if she could change our minds. After repeating ourselves for the 5th time that we were NOT interested, her attitude completely changed and I was extremely disappointed. It honestly felt like the only reason she was being nice in the first place was to push us into getting the “better” membership. Thankfully after 40 minutes at customer service we were finally able to get our membership and shop. Make this a PSA to stay firm and don’t let no manager or nobody bully you into getting the more expensive membership if you already know what works best for you.
Raymond Chandler a month ago🌟 I would like to recognize Bria for the exceptional customer service she provided during my visit today. While working near the electronics department, she went out of her way to help me with my rug purchase and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. 😊 What stood out most was her friendly attitude, patience, and willingness to assist, especially during the busy holiday season when retail employees are often under a lot of pressure. 🎄🛍️ Despite the crowds and hectic environment, Bria remained professional, attentive, and genuinely focused on helping customers. Employees like Bria make a lasting positive impression and are a big reason people enjoy shopping at Costco. 👏 Her dedication, kindness, and outstanding customer service deserve recognition. Thank you, Bria, for going above and beyond and making my shopping experience such a positive one! ⭐🙌😊
Laura Williams 2 months agoIn general I really like this Costco location, but I had a great experience today that I wanted to share: I went to the Optical department to get my glasses adjusted and the lady who helped me did such a great job adjusting them, they felt like a totally different pair of glasses when I put them back on. Not to mention, you're supposed to check in at the department by scanning a QR code and I didn't notice and was messing up their queue. She didn't act irritated or unkind at all, which is better than I think I could do in that situation. I didn't get her name but she was wearing a sweatshirt that said "Good things are all around you" on the back, something like that. Thank you so much for fixing my glasses, they have been bothering me a lot and now they feel SO much better!
