Costco has good quality items at good prices, but they ruined this particular store by removing the self checkout lane. Now you get to stand in line for 30 mins even if you only have a few items. Shopping at Sam's now since they do this so much better, and they even have a self checkout app to make shopping super quick. Costco shot themselves in the foot with this move.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your store on April, 4th 2026, which unfortunately did not meet the level of service I have come to expect. While checking out with Adriana and Sky, I encountered a cashier whose demeanor was noticeably unwelcoming and disengaged. There was no greeting, acknowledgment, or basic courtesy extended during the transaction. As a customer, I believe that even small gestures—such as a simple “hello” or “how are you”—go a long way in creating a positive shopping experience. This interaction left me feeling undervalued and disappointed. I understand that everyone can have difficult days, but consistent professionalism and courtesy are essential in a customer-facing role. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the overall store environment and can influence a customer’s decision to return. I have been a loyal shopper in the past, but this visit has given me pause. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address it appropriately, whether through additional training or reinforcement of customer service expectations. Mia was a hard salesman. I felt like i was being sold a time share. Not enjoyable. Took 45 min to sign up. I just wanted to buy some coffee. She wasnt that nice or charming.

This Costco is so much more stocked and very nice. But be prepared to get hollered at if you’re app doesn’t work if you get Cecelia T’s line. As with anything in life, sometimes it needs a reset and then a little patience and presto magic. I went to Highland High so I was unfazed at this encounter but somebody that is not ready for this may get offended. Other than this hiccup, it’s a great store with more items available than my go to “ closer”Costco.
