This is a very large store here in the Pearland area. They had many different products that other stores would have, and I was surprised with how well everything was kept in stock. The staff knew the area well and where most of the products were moved to. As I was there for a few weeks, there were many different floor changes, and they all seemed to be on point with where things got moved or were able to easily find the items customers were looking for. Every time I walked by, the demo people always seemed to have samples out already or just mentioned they'd be out in a few moments, and they were. All of the demos seemed to be fully stocked and had a nice variety for customers as well.

I sometimes just visit to order food from the in-store restaurant. The whole pizza & prize is worth the drive. The selection of sundaes & entrées are awesome. I didn't know I could phone in my order. A membership is required to enter/shop the store. Well worth it I must say

Love Costco. Must shop for dog food, paper towels, tp, chicken and even plants! Save yourself a hundred dollars and grab a snack at the deli first to avoid impulse buys!!! LOL Staff is especially awesome at this location too...

Great pharmacy where you are greeted with a smile as they go out of their way to fill medications that aren’t ready while you shop. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Plus! Way less expensive than CVS, WALGREENS etc.

Think about it. Is it really worth it? Paying a yearly fee for the "exclusive privilege" of entering a giant concrete box that feels like a social experiment designed to see how much a human being can endure for a cheap rotisserie chicken. From an outsider's point of view, the scale of this place is terrifying; you are given a shopping cart the size of a dumpster to navigate long and narrow aisles that are constantly being rearranged like a sentient maze, presumably to ensure you get lost and accidentally buy a four-year supply of maple syrup. The parking lot is a lawless wasteland where the lines on the pavement are merely suggestions and people fight over spots with the intensity of a medieval siege, yet once you finally get inside, the staff looks at you with the hollow eyes of soldiers who have seen too much. It is unbelievable how a multi-billion dollar global entity in the 21st century refuses to accept any credit card that doesn't say "Visa" and after a long line at checkout they expect you to carry fifty loose items bouncing around your shopping cart because they cannot be bothered to provide a single paper bag. The priorities are truly upside down; the fresh vegetable section is a tiny, shivering corner of the warehouse, while the empire of "ultra-processed beige" extends as far as the eye can see, offering five-pound bags of candy that would make a normal human faint due to hyperglycemia. It is the peak of human excess where you go in for a loaf of bread and leave $400 poorer with a 12-person inflatable boat and enough mayonnaise to lubricate a jet engine, all while convincing yourself you are "saving money." It seems like the only reason anyone survives the high-cortisol haze of this experience is the $1.50 hot dog at the end, a sort of culinary "hush money" that tastes like salt and desperation, served in a food court that resembles a high-security prison cafeteria. Costco probably knows that after ninety minutes of being clipped by flatbed trolleys and denied the basic dignity of a shopping bag or clear isle signs, you will happily eat an oily pizza the size of your own torso to feel something again. Ultimately, Costco is a perfect mirror of the loudest parts of the culture: it squeezes every cent from your pocket by selling you "value" you’ll most-likely never actually use, proving that while the return policy is generous, and the gas prices are good, the time and effort you spent questioning your life choices inside this ugly and chaotic concrete box is gone forever. Do the math. I have a relatively large family, and it may seem like we could save money by buying "in bulk", but when looking at it objectively, in the long run, we save far more money and space (low storge needs + no need for two fridges/freezers = savings) by shopping weekly in a smaller, traditional grocery shop, and will also eat healthier (reduced medical bills = more savings), all while also saving us the anxiety, time, and effort.x is gone forever.
