Ample selection of everything. They always add new items to their shelves. At pizza stop, they have controlled the recipe with the help of machines. In few years I believe there won’t be any humans making pizza anymore but the machines only.

This Costco on E. Stockton Blvd is our usual stop when we’re visiting relatives in Sacramento and heading back home. It’s conveniently located and easy to get in and out of, which makes it a practical place to pick up a few essentials before getting back on the road. Like most Costco locations, it’s well-stocked and organized, so it’s easy to find what you need without much hassle. On this trip, we picked up groceries like meat (which has consistently been good quality), along with avocados and mandarins. As usual, my wife also found a couple of clothing items she liked—something that seems to happen almost every time we stop at a Costco. One thing I’ve noticed is that prices on certain items here can be a bit lower than what we see in San Francisco, so we often end up saving a few dollars. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. During this visit, I was looking for a specific brand of coffee and somehow kept missing it. When I asked for help, an associate kindly walked me right to it, which I appreciated. Overall, it’s a reliable, no-surprises Costco with a good selection and solid service—definitely a worthwhile stop when you’re in the area.

When I needed supplies for a backyard project, Costco Wholesale had the outdoor furniture, tools, and even the plants I wanted. Everything was durable and well-priced, and the staff was helpful loading big boxes into my car. The quality exceeded expectations, and the value of getting it all in one place was incredible.

My partner and I own a successful multi-million-dollar business and recently visited Costco after hearing so much about its reputation for friendly customer service. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. We went to the Membership Services desk simply looking to open a business membership and potentially apply for a business credit card in the future. The associate assisting us, Mary, immediately made us feel uncomfortable. Instead of providing welcoming customer service, she appeared suspicious of us and treated us as though we were attempting to commit fraud or were not legitimate business owners. Mary informed us that we needed to provide proof of our business. We had all the required documentation readily available on our phones and were more than willing to email any documents needed. Despite this, she continued to question us and called over her manager, Aaron. Unfortunately, Aaron's approach made us feel even more scrutinized rather than assisted. As business owners, we are accustomed to professional interactions and understand the need for verification procedures. However, the way we were treated felt less about policy and more about assumptions being made based on the color of our skin. The experience left us feeling profiled, unwelcome, and disrespected. At that point, we decided not to proceed with the membership and chose to take our business elsewhere. I do want to acknowledge Manager Shekhar, who was kind, professional, and genuinely attempted to resolve the situation. His efforts were appreciated, but by then the damage had already been done and our confidence in doing business there was gone. No customer should leave a business feeling judged or profiled. We hope Costco takes these concerns seriously and provides additional training to ensure all customers are treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

I stopped by to renew my membership card, but after the staff at the entrance annoyed me with their ridiculous questions and rules, I changed my mind about being a Costco member altogether! Disgusting! If a customer wants to come in and buy a Costco membership from you, it's incredibly stupid to stand on principle and give them foolish instructions on what to do.
