I stopped by this Costco Wholesale location off I-70 and W 52nd Ave in Arvada recently and it was a fantastic shopping experience. The store is huge, well-organized, and incredibly well-stocked with all the bulk essentials, fresh produce, and great deals I’ve come to expect from Costco. Their tire center, optical, and pharmacy were all open and efficient, making it a true one-stop destination. Parking was plentiful despite it being a busy area near Home Depot and Red Robin, and the layout made navigating with a cart easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the food court and checkout. I was impressed with the fresh bakery items, meat department quality, and the wide selection of seasonal goods. Gas prices were competitive too, which is always a bonus. This location benefits from excellent highway access right off the I-70 corridor, making it convenient for locals and travelers alike. While it can get crowded during peak weekend hours, the lines moved quickly thanks to plenty of open registers. Overall, this Arvada Costco delivers outstanding value, selection, and convenience. It’s easily one of the best in the Denver metro area. Highly recommend for families and bulk shoppers!

I want to recognize Taysha at Costco for truly exceptional customer service. I recently restarted my Costco membership after not being a member for about 10 years. I drove down from Winter Park, Colorado — about 90 minutes away — and Taysha helped me get my membership set up and apply for a Citi Visa card since I only had Mastercard credit cards. She assured me I’d be able to shop that day using a temporary card once approved. Unfortunately, even though I was approved, the temporary Citi Visa would not work at checkout for my $500+ grocery purchase. Sue at customer service was also very kind and helpful, and together they spent a long time trying to solve the issue. We all spoke with Citi Visa multiple times, and Taysha even got on the phone herself trying to advocate for me and fix the problem. At that point I was essentially stranded with a full cart of groceries and no way to pay, since Costco doesn’t accept Mastercard. Taysha could have easily said, “Sorry, there’s nothing more I can do,” but instead she went above and beyond over and over again. She ran around the store looking for managers and trying to find any possible solution so I could get home to Winter Park with my groceries. What stood out most was not just her effort, but how much she genuinely cared. She made me feel seen, supported, and important as a customer during a stressful situation. People like Taysha are the kind of employees who should be celebrated, recognized, and promoted because they create trust and loyalty and make customers feel truly cared for. She is outstanding.

Its a convenient location off I70. The fuel station is a little difficult to navigate but theres plenty of parking. I highly recommend coming early in the day to get the best selections as this location gets pretty busy throughout the day. The facilities are nice and the staff is helpful. As well, I HIGHLY recommend the optometry department. Theyre so helpful and thorough.

I have a loyal Costco member for 20 years and have always been very pleased with the service we received at the Costco food court. We are visiting from out of town and decided to pick up some pizza for dinner. We ordered on the phone ahead of time and came to pick up. We ordered additional ice scream, salad and hotdogs. She gave us hotdogs and salad but did not gave us the ice scream. She then said, “I gave you the cookies and the twist already” but we never got any nor did we get ordered any. I said “we haven’t gotten our ice scream.” She said, “I will do you a favor and give it to you anyway. “ We paid for it and just asking for what we paid for. In addition, we ordered 5 large pizza and asked for crushed peppers and cheese she gave us 3 packages each and said “is this enough.” I reminded her ordered 5 pizza and she gave me 2 more packages each. Lastly, the couple in front of us also order 2 large pizza and she offered them pickled radishes but didn’t offered us any.

Wish I could give more stars, I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience, today I came in to pick something up from the pharmacy, that went smoothly and then on my way out I stopped to pick up a pizza and the lady at the register was just so rude from the very beginning, and didn’t even bother calling out my order I was standing directly in front of the register waiting for my food and after 45 mins I finally approached her and she said my order was called out twice, which it was not I was literally in front of the register and she gave me attitude about it. I called the store manager and she was very understanding and told me she would have a talk with her, I usually don’t go out of my way like this if someone is rude but this was just ridiculous. The cashier kiosk user# 731. Everyone else here has been wonderful so I will continue to shop at this location but unfortunately, I will not return to the food court in case that rude lady is there. Also, my pizza had weird indents in it on the spots where the pepperoni is missing, it’s completely flat. I don’t feel comfortable eating this.
